What is Mindfulness?
A Practice of Stopping and Noticing
Mindfulness is the practice of directing our attention to the present moment: our breathing, our body sensations, thoughts, emotions, or even everyday activities like walking and eating. Being able to step back from the busy-ness of habitual activity and the relentless chatter of the mind, offers us space and clarity to make better choices and to respond more skilfully to whatever the present-moment throws at us.
